Whole School Award:North Zone national Level is presented to Dr. A.K. Sharma,Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura by respected Mr. Vineet Joshi, Chairman CBSE. Prof Siddiqi, Chairperson NCTE, Dr A.K. Sharma, former Director CBSE, Dr. Anjalee Prakash, Chairperson EQFI And Ms. Meera Balachandran, Director EQFI addressed and cogratulated all the winners. They discussed the importance of quality Education and stressed on the mission of quality education to all.

* World Literacy Day Celebration on 08.09.09 Sept 8 was proclaimed International Literacy Day by UNESCO on Nov. 17, 1965. Himanshu of XI B gave an enlightening speech on the importance of literacy day highlighting the literacy challenge which can be met through 1) Stronger commitment to literacy 2) more effective literacy programme delivery 3) Increased resources for literacy Taruna of XI B recited a posem "READ" written by Richard Peck which won the children Read best award in 2008. Students of class VIII D sang a group song stressing its need to our society.
